Summary:

In 2008, a second anaerobic digestion mission was coordinated in Vermont, US. As with the European mission, this mission enabled agricultural producers, power producers and others interested in anaerobic digestion to witness firsthand the management and day-to-day operations of anaerobic digestion facilities. Additionally, the Vermont mission also enabled attendees to witness anaerobic digestion technology in an environment much more similar to the B.C. context.
